Customer registration review
Purpose and access
Registrations presents self-service customer requests for administrative review. The screen supports inspection and a decision on an eligible pending request. Viewing a registration and deciding it are separate capabilities. Confirm the current workspace and your review permission before acting on an applicant.
An approval records the review decision. Tenant and user provisioning remain separate. Do not tell an applicant that a workspace or account is ready solely because the registration changed to approved. Review the actual tenant and user records through their supported administrative screens.
Inspect an application
- Open Registrations from the sidebar.
- Use Search registrations or the column filters to locate the relevant request. On a narrow screen, open Filters as needed.
- Open View details and confirm the applicant's name, email, organization, type and current status.
- Check the received date and any existing reviewed date, reviewer and review reason.
- If the row is stale or another administrator may have acted, select Refresh before deciding.
Export only the permitted information required for the review. Use Columns, Rows, Previous and Next to manage a large list without changing its underlying records. Search and filtering do not themselves approve or reject an application.
Approve a pending request
- Open Approve registration for the eligible pending row.
- Check the applicant shown in the confirmation dialog.
- Enter Reason (optional) when your review process benefits from a short explanation.
- Select the confirmation acknowledging the applicant and decision displayed above it.
- Choose Approve registration once and wait for the response.
- Confirm the saved status and review information in the refreshed list or details.
Reject a pending request
- Open Reject registration for the intended pending row.
- Check the applicant and enter Reason (required).
- Keep the reason between 1 and 1,000 characters and avoid personal information beyond what the review needs.
- Select the confirmation and choose Reject registration once.
- Verify the resulting status, reviewer and explanation after completion.
Acceptance and recovery
Use a synthetic request from documentation-lab to practice inspection without contacting a real applicant. A successful review produces one recorded decision for the intended request and preserves a traceable reason where required. It does not create a tenant, assign a role or generate first-access instructions.
If a decision fails because the record changed, close the stale review and refresh the list. Inspect the current status before reopening an action. If the response cannot be verified, use the same decision's supported retry rather than changing the decision or repeatedly submitting new requests.
Review controls disappear when the request is no longer pending or your role lacks management access. Treat that as a state or permission condition. Do not attempt to bypass it through another tenant or a handcrafted request.
Continue with Tenants, Users and Audit to verify the separate provisioning and access steps.
